Overview

Sabuk Lodge is a stunning wilderness destination, perched on the high banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the Northern Laikipia District, overlooking a beautiful elephant-adorned bushy landscape and the rushing rocky waters below.

The lodge has 6 beautifully furnished open sided en suite cottages, plus the exclusive Eagle Cottages (a family unit) which consists of 2 separate bedrooms (both en suite), a large sitting/dining room and private plunge pool. Both the lodge rooms and the cottage have their own fabulous views. Sabuk was fashioned out of the local landscape, built with local materials, twisted wood and stone boulders incorporated into the architecture. Open fronted and private verandas face out over the river gorge 150 feet below.

Sabuk Fly Camp is perfect for clients spending 3 or more days. Walk with a professional safari guide, a camel train and a team of trained Laikipia Maasai warriors through completely deserted tracts of wilderness: no other tourists, no roads or vehicles, only wildlife and tracks, breathtaking scenery, the sounds of the bush, Africa.

6 en-suite Stone Thatch Cottages – 4 doubles and 2 twin rooms ( twin rooms can be made into doubles )

Eagle Cottage - 1 double and 1 twin room, both en suite, with a shared sitting room and private swimming pool. It can fit 4 pax comfortably and 6 pax maximum
